Poste Italiane announces that today, February 3, 2024, an ordinary stamp belonging to the thematic series "the Natural and Landscape Heritage" dedicated to the City of Italy: Trento, European Capital of Volunteering, relating to the value of the B zone 1 open tariff at € 1.30, is issued by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy. Mintage: two hundred and fifty thousand copies. Sheet: forty-five copies The stamp is printed by the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato S.p.A., in rotogravure, on white, neutral coated, self-adhesive, non-fluorescent paper. Sketch by the Trentino Volunteer Service Center and optimized by the Philatelic Center of the Operational Management of the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato S.p.A. The vignette delimited, at the top, by the lettering of Trento European Capital of Volunteering 2024, reproduces a particular stroke of the illustration used for the promotional campaign of the Trento, European Capital of Volunteering event, depicting, in stylized graphics, some people engaged in volunteer activities in the foreground on an ideal skyline of Trento where, from the left, the Civic Tower is highlighted, the Praetorian Palace, the Buonconsiglio Castle and the Science Museum. The stamp is completed by the inscription "ITALIA" and the tariff indication "B ZONE 1". The first day of issue cancellation will be available at the philatelic counter of the post office in Trento Centro. The stamp and related philatelic products, postcards, cards and illustrative bulletins will be available at Post Offices with philatelic counters, the "Philatelic Space" in Florence, Genoa, Milan, Naples, Rome, Rome 1, Turin, Trieste, Venice, Verona and on the filatelia.poste.it website. For the occasion, a philatelic folder in A4 format with three doors has also been created, containing a quatrain of stamps, a single stamp, a cancelled and franked postcard, a first-day of issue envelope and the illustrative bulletin, at the price of € 20
