These are the highest possible quality diamond-dust pins for cleaning ancient coins: Extremely high quality, fine grit diamond dust. Virtually unbreakable shaft.
 
The Pin Vise is custom adapted to fit the pins on both sides. The diamond-dust grit is fine enough for gently filing away the dirt without damaging the metal or the patina, as long as the cleaning is done properly. The Gentle Wrecking Ball pin can be used for gently filing away dirt on the large fields of the coin, or can be used for gently rolling over very hard encrustations while exerting pressure.
 
The extremely fine grit, very durable, sand paper is for sharpening bamboo toothpicks (NOT included). Bamboo toothpicks are of very limited efficacy when cleaning ancient coins, but they are helpful in some cases. 
 
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
The skinny pin CAN BEND AND EVEN BREAK because it's indeed very skinny, and it's meant for very delicate work. So please use it by VERY GENTLY filing away dirt in areas on the coin surface that require high-precision, such as hair, eyes, etc.
 
When cleaning your coin, use the pins to FILE AWAY DIRT as gently as possible; do not try to scrape it off, as that might damage the coin.
 
Choose the appropriate grit, depending on the hardness of the dirt, etc. Yellow-band pins (Extremely Fine Grit) should be used for thicker encrustations. White-band pins (Extremely fine plus + grit) and Pointy Pins, as well as the Skinny Pin, should be used for more precise, detailed cleaning, once larger encrustations are removed, if any.
 
The difference between yellow and white band pins is 5 microns, only visible under microscope magnification.
